Before You Begin
You'll need to purchase the W2 / 1099 Software in order to obtain an activation code to use it. To order through the online store:
- From your Procare Home screen click the Help menu and choose Procare Store Website.
- Place your order for v10 W2 / 1099 Software. On the order confirmation screen your activation number will appear. Once your order is complete, you can view the Activation Code by going to Order History and clicking Details.
Installation
If you wish to run the W2 & 1099 software on more than one computer you'll need to install it on each one.
Download:
- Log on to your computer with local administrator privileges and close all programs.
- Go to procaresoftware.com/extras
- Click the link to download the W2 / 1099 Software and choose Run (Internet Explorer) then follow the on screen prompts to complete the installation.
Note: If you use Firefox choose Save File then, once the download is complete, dbl-click the file on your Firefox Downloads list to install it.
Install from CD:
To receive a CD you must place your order by phone. Online pricing does not apply. Call 1 (800) 338-3884.
- Log on to your computer with local administrator privileges and close all programs.
- Insert the Procare W2 & 1099 CD.
- Open the folder on the CD named Procare v10. To do so, go to Start > Computer (or My Computer) > W2Disk > Procare v10.
- Double-click setup (or setup.exe) in that folder and follow the on screen prompts.
