Vacation Accumulation Rate

Use the accumulation rate formula to determine how much vacation, sick time, or similar benefit hours to accrue per pay period or per 40 hours worked.

Getting There

The Accumulation Rate is entered on the Batch Post Accrued Benefits when you choose a Calculation Method of either "For every 40 hours worked" or "For every pay period".

Accumulation Formula

To determine how many hours and employee should accrue use one of these formulas:

For every 40 hours worked -
Example assumes 2 weeks of vacation per year.




For every pay period -
Example assumes 2 weeks of vacation and 26 pay periods per year.
