# Procare Cloud Overview

Get a quick overview of the Procare Cloud service.

Procare Cloud is a service that lets you access information for your child-centered business from any Procare computer with a high speed internet connection* (home, office, laptop, etc.). The data is stored on Procare’s secure servers and made available online – only to you.

***Note**: Use of AirCards (3G, 4G, etc.) or satellite connections is not supported.

## Internet & Computer Requirements

Important! Make sure your internet connection meets the Procare Cloud Requirements and your computer meets the overall System Requirements for Procare. See: [System Requirements](/procare-desktop/docs/system-requirements).

## Procare Cloud Installation

Once you’ve signed up for Procare Procare Cloud, you’ll be sent a link to download the installation package on each computer that will use Procare.

**Notes**:

1. Procare Cloud is  NOT COMPATIBLE with Terminal Services or any version of Microsoft Windows Server.
2. If you previously installed a local (non-Cloud) version of Procare, you’ll be sent special instructions to export your data and uninstall the local (non-Cloud) version BEFORE installing the Procare Cloud software.
