# September 2026 Procare Desktop Product Release

## New Features and Enhancements

### Payment Issue Alert

Payer accounts with payment issues are now flagged in real time — no more running a report to find them. Spot flagged accounts at a glance, follow up faster, and avoid re-charging accounts that haven't been resolved yet.

### Exposure Settings Wizard

**Exposure Settings** can now be managed location-first, not just item-first. Pick a location and choose everything to expose to it in one pass, instead of exposing each item one-by-one. This makes onboarding a new location much faster.

## Minor Enhancements and Resolved Issues

**Payments**

- Fixed an issue that could cause a payment error for customers with a saved payment method that wasn't marked as preferred.
- Fixed an issue that could cause an error immediately after submitting a payment with a stored payment method.
- Fixed a formatting inconsistency so dollar amounts over $1,000 now display consistently with commas.

**Messaging**

- Fixed an issue where automated text message reminders were occasionally flagged as spam by mobile carriers.
- Fixed a display glitch that could occur when the chat window was opened and closed in quick succession.

**Family & Enrollment**

- Fixed an issue where updates to a child's approved emergency contacts weren't syncing correctly between the Procare Online and Desktop.
