Once parents are added to the system, they can [sign up for a Procare account](/procare-online/docs/parents-how-to-sign-up-for-a-procare-account) through the website. **Note**: Parent email invites expire after one week. If the invite is not accepted within the week, a new invite can be resent. Parent App Features: - Sign child in/out using a [QR Code](/procare-online/docs/parents-using-qr-codes-for-sign-inout-1) or [Contactless Curbside (GPS) Sign In/out](/procare-online/docs/curbside-contactless-gps-sign-inout). - Add or edit their child's allergies or medication [Add/edit authorized pickups](/procare-online/docs/parents-add-parents-and-authorized-pickups-to-your-childs-account-1). - View their [current balance](/procare-online/docs/parents-view-current-balance-1), [make payments](/procare-online/docs/parents-make-a-payment-app-1), or setup auto-pay. - View a [live feed of their child's activities,](/procare-online/docs/parents-review-your-childs-daily-activities-1) such as clock-in/outs, meals, photos, and more! - [Receive/reply to messages](/procare-online/docs/parents-message-your-childs-teacher-1) [Embedded content](https://www.youtube.com/embed/m_rbN1CggOA) --- ## Invite Families by Email or SMS (text) **Send Invites via the Web:** There are two ways to add/invite parents via the web: 1. Go to **My School > Students.** 2. Locate the student. 3. Go to **My School > Students.** 2. Click on a student. 3. Scroll to the **Parent/Guardian** section of the student profile. 4. Complete the fields in the **Add Parent** window. 2. If you choose to uncheck the invite option, the parent will not receive an invitation. - first receive an email verification request - after they verify the email address, an invite email is sent with instructions The display below their name now says ‘**Signed Up**’. Locate the **Parents or Guardians** section. 4. If you [imported a spreadsheet of student data](/procare-online/docs/bulk-upload-of-student-data-xls-or-csv) into Procare or chose not to invite parents when initially adding their information, then follow the steps below to invite or re-invite parents to sign up. 1. Navigate to **My School > Students.** 2. Click the **More Actions** icon in the top right corner. 3. Select the students you want to invite. 5. Click the checkbox ‘**Show students whose parents are not signed up yet**’ option or 1. Click **Select All** to send the invite to all parents. 6.
