The “import” portion of the Data Import / Export feature may be used to import the database from Procare version 9.1 or a prior installation of v10. The “export” portion may be used to export the database from an existing v10 installation in order to import it to another installation. This may be appropriate when moving to the Procare Cloud or when consolidating separate databases from independent sites into a single database to be accessed across a virtual private network (VPN).

Does everything import?
No. Some settings are not imported. If you are converting from version 9, see the Version 9 Conversion Chart. If you are importing from one v10 installation to another (such as when moving from a local installation to the Procare Cloud) see Settings that Don’t Import.
