Most frequent reason for the message:
Something in the SMTP settings that you selected in the Email Options is incorrect. Check the following items:
- Server name/address
- Port settings
- User Name
- Password
- SSL Security
If all of the above are correct, check the following:
For Yahoo accounts, the School Email Address must match the Username Email Address.
Some Yahoo accounts require a Yahoo generated third party password to be entered in Email Options.
For Gmail accounts, their Less Secure Apps Settings may need to be changed.
