New Features & Enhancements
Automatic Debit/Credit Card Type Verification
To maintain compliance with card network surcharging regulations, Procare will now verify and correct any misclassified debit/credit cards. This process is known as Bank Identification Number (BIN) Lookup. If a payer selects the wrong card type (debit/credit), our system will verify and ensure it is properly classified before being added. This also applies to stored payments.
See: Card Reclassification Notifications for examples of what payers will see when a card is misclassified.
