How to check if a parent has signed up for a Procare account.


How Can I Tell if a Parent Has Signed Up?

There are two ways to see the status of a parent's Procare account:

Option 1: Navigate to My School > Students list. Locate the student and hover your mouse over the Parents column.

  • Orange address book: No email on file.

  • No icon: Not yet invited.

  • Gray envelope: Invite sent, no action taken by parent.

  • Orange clock: Invite sent, account verified, parent not yet signed up.

  • Green shield: Parent signed up successfully.

Option 2: My School > Students > Select a student and scroll to the Parent/Guardians section. Below the parent/guardian name is an account status.

Rejected by recipient

The recipient indicated they are not the intended person

  • Confirm or revise the email

  • Resend Invite

Recipient accidentally opted out

Recipient opted out of the email by accident

  • Re-invite

Invite

Parent/guardian has not been sent any invite emails

  • Invite

Invite sent

  • Parent/guardian had been invited but has not responded

  • Alert badge is displayed until email is verified

  • Re-invite

Email verified, Procare account not created

Parent/guardian has confirmed, but has not signed up

  • Re-invite

Signed up

Parent/guardian has confirmed and signed up

Admin Follow-Up for Parent/Guardian Email Status

Rejected Emails

If an email is rejected, a notification is sent to the Admin. Until the email is updated, the account cannot be set up.

  • The Parent/Guardian profile has a status of ‘Rejected by recipient’

  • The Re-Invite is disabled until the email is updated

  • If the same email is entered again, the email must be confirmed by the Admin

    • All future emails are blocked until the rejected email is updated
