A statement is a summary of a family’s account activity that you can view, print or email to the parents/guardians. It is useful for reimbursement requests, or any time your center or the parent/guardian wants a record of the account.
Parents/Guardians Access to Statements
Parents/guardians can also view a statement at any time by logging in to their Procare parent/guardian account. No administrator help is needed. This also applies to families of students who are inactive, on hold, or have graduated. Send this article, Family Account Statement or Tax Statement, to your parents/guardians.
To create a statement for a family:
Go to Billing > Accounting > Family Account.
Click a student.
Select More Options
in the top-right corner of the window.
Select Statement.
For Multifamily accounts, select All Families or the subfamily.
Multifamily Statements
Each subfamily on a Multifamily account gets its own statement and can’t see the other subfamily’s invoices or payments. All Families creates a statement for each subfamily on the selected Family Account, not for every family in your Procare account.
Enter the date range. You can enter up to 12 months.
Date Range Limit
Each statement can cover up to 12 months. For a longer period, create separate statements. For example, run one from January to December and another for the previous year.
Choose how you want to send or view the statement:
Click Email Parents to send the statement directly to the parents/guardians by email.
Click View to open the statement as a PDF in your browser. From the PDF, you can download or print.
FAQ - Family Account Statement
Can the center staff create statements for all families at one time?
No. Statements must be created for a family using the instructions above. Best practice is to encourage families to create their own statements. Send this article, Print Statements for Year-End Taxes or Reimbursement to your parents/guardians so they can learn how to view or print statements.
