New Features and Enhancements

  • Failed payment attempts now display specific, actionable error messages (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds) instead of generic failure notices.

  • Failed refund attempts now post to the family ledger, visible to both administrators and parents/guardians.

  • Administrators and assigned teachers now receive email and in-app notifications when a parent/guardian uploads a document to their child's profile.

  • RoomRunner now lets you compare a room's roster changes between any two months, with a Moved-In/Out breakdown, net enrollment stats and a PDF export option.

  • Bulk Change Enrollment and Change Room actions now apply to all eligible students and prompt users to resolve any pending RoomRunner move plans instead of silently blocking the update.

  • A new SMS Delivery Status dashboard shows the delivery status of every sent SMS message, with tooltips explaining the reason for any failures.


Minor Enhancements and Resolved Issues

Daily Activities and Activity Feed

  • Resolved an issue where students could appear signed into two classrooms at once, causing inaccurate attendance records.

  • Fixed an issue where parents/guardians with push notifications enabled for daily activities were not receiving those notifications.

  • Resolved an issue where student profile photos were intermittently disappearing for web and Android users.

  • Fixed an issue where changes to a student’s sign-in staff member were not reflected on the parent’s/guardian’s activity feed.

  • Resolved an issue where students’ profile pictures were not loading when they had an activity pending approval.

  • Fixed an issue on web where the activity drawer occasionally displayed "No Activities Created" after an activity was created.

  • Resolved an issue where the pending approval drawer stayed open after deleting the last pending approval.

Payments and Billing

  • Resolved an issue where recurring plan invoices were intermittently not generating and sending to families.

  • Fixed an issue causing an error screen when entering a "–" sign before a 0 on an invoice. Negative amounts can now be entered with the "–" before or after the 0.

Reporting

  • Resolved an issue where using a custom date range on the ACH Returns/Credit Card Declines report did not generate data.

  • Fixed an issue where pulling a monthly Tuition Express report included the first day of the next month.

  • Resolved an issue where Family Balance reports were failing to generate in certain cases.

  • Fixed an issue where the Historic FTE report was calculating incorrect amounts.

  • Resolved an issue where the Attendance per Student report was failing to generate in certain cases.

  • Fixed an issue where the Attendance export was not displaying results in alphabetical order.

  • Resolved an issue in Students > Quick Reports where multiple modals could be opened at once.

APIs and Integrations

  • Resolved an issue where errors from KinderSystems attendance transmission were not displaying to users.

  • Optimized how billing transaction records are retrieved, improving performance when loading billing transaction data.

Communications and Parent Engagement

  • Resolved an issue where the classroom filter did not update results correctly when adding photos to a newsletter.

  • Fixed an issue where parents/guardians were immediately logged out after creating an account.

  • Resolved an issue where the link to the SMS Delivery Status page was not working in SMS failure email notifications.

Center Management

  • Resolved an issue that caused errors when attempting to remove rooms without assigned staff or students from a program.

Permissions and Account Management

  • Resolved an issue where a user who was both a parent and staff member would be taken to a different school when switching between roles.


Mobile Release 6.5.1

Android Resolved Issues

  • Fixed a critical issue causing the app to crash when restored from the background.

  • Resolved an issue where the "2-Step Verification Available" modal repeatedly appeared for staff at centers not using 2-Step Verification.

  • Fixed an issue where staff members with no access to student addresses could view students’ addresses in the mobile app.
