Mandatory 2-Step Verification for Staff

Manage Scheduled Enrollments from RoomRunner

You can now update or cancel a child’s scheduled enrollment directly from the RoomRunner dashboard without having to navigate to Leads. Whether you’re working in RoomRunner or the Leads page, your data automatically stays in sync. Learn more.

RoomRunner Move Plans Now Cover Every Child Movement: Schedule On Hold for Active Students

Use Schedule on Hold in RoomRunner to place a future hold on an active student’s record while freeing up their room slot. All room and program assignments are saved, making reactivation a one-step process. Learn more.

Minor Enhancements and Resolved Issues

RoomRunner

• Resolved an issue where processing a student’s graduation manually or via RoomRunner deactivated parents/guardians and removed their access to the Procare app.

Security and Account Management

• Resolved an issue where bulk parent/guardian invitations sent via My School > Students were not being delivered for newly onboarded sites, even when Procare displayed a success message.

• Fixed an issue where teachers whose role had Parent/Staff Messaging set to No Access could compose and send emails and messages from the Messaging section.

• Resolved an issue where the Roles & Permissions page occasionally displayed as blank with no roles listed for teachers with 2-Step Verification enabled.

• Fixed the issue that caused the Invite button to display in the Add Parent modal when adding a parent/guardian whose email was already associated with an existing Procare account.

• Resolved an issue where sending a parent/guardian invitation email to a parent/guardian who was already associated with another student caused the invite code to be missing from the email, preventing the parent/guardian from completing registration.

Billing and Payments

• Resolved an issue where autopay was appearing as enabled on the parent-facing side while showing as disabled in Procare for certain families, causing scheduled autopayments to fail on their due dates.

• Fixed an issue where parents/guardians who turned off autopay at the family level were unable to delete their saved payment method in the app.

Daily Activities and Activity Feed

• Resolved the issue that caused the activity feed to not consistently display nap start and end times to parents/guardians when a nap activity was posted from mobile.

• Fixed an issue where an Absent activity created by a staff member on Android mobile was correctly flagged as Staff Only on web but did not display as Staff Only on mobile, preventing staff from approving it from the mobile app.

• Resolved an issue where after editing the description of a Photo activity, the caption in the mobile activity feed and the description on the edit screen were displaying different values.

• Fixed an issue where editing a Video activity for an individual student caused the video preview image for the resulting split activity to break.

• Resolved an issue where editing a Photo activity containing multiple students for an individual student caused the photo link to not copy to the split activity.

• Fixed the issue that caused an error when filtering the Activity feed to display a single student and then using Edit All in Batch Student Activities.

• Resolved an issue where deleting a student from a group Learning activity caused the activity feed to not update for the remaining students.

• Fixed the issue that caused the date picker to display the first day of the week instead of the current day when navigating from the Activity Summary tab (with Weekly filter selected) to the Activity Feed tab and then switching to the Daily filter.

• Resolved an issue in the Parent Portal where switching the Activity Feed date picker between Daily, Weekly and Monthly options was not updating the displayed date range.

• Fixed the issue that caused an error after creating a Nap activity from mobile without setting an end time and then attempting to export a report from the Activity Summary page for the affected student.

• Resolved an issue where editing an individual student’s copy of a shared activity caused it to display below the original activity in the feed, which reversed the expected order.

• Fixed an issue where additional students could not be added to an existing Photo or Video activity.

Assessments and Portfolio

• Resolved an issue where observations with tracked progress and within a selected date range were excluded from portfolio output when generating a portfolio with the "Only include assessments with assigned progress" option selected.

• Fixed an issue where an observation activity created on mobile with edited milestones would not consistently display the updated information in the activity details on web.

Documents

• Resolved an issue where a blank screen would display for staff and families when attempting to insert a signature in the emailed version of electronic documents.

Reporting

• Resolved an issue where multiple Corporate Business Services users generating the same report simultaneously in the same school caused subsequent reports to get stuck in a "Generating" state indefinitely.

• Fixed an issue where Time & Expense Corporate Reports were failing to generate in certain cases for school-level Online accounts.

• Resolved an issue where the Family Balance report was not displaying student names in the Student Names column for families consisting entirely of inactive students.

• Fixed the issue that caused an error on the Registration Payments Report when the date range included February 19 or February 20, 2026.

Enrollment and Leads

• Resolved an issue where students synced from Procare Desktop with a future enrollment date were not automatically set to Active status on their activation date, resulting in an inconsistent registration status.

• Fixed an issue where notes added to a Lead record could not be deleted.

Mobile Release 6.5.0

iOS Resolved Issues

• Resolved an issue where adding or editing a photo on a mobile observation incorrectly removed the milestones linked to that observation.

• Fixed an issue where the "By [Staff Name]" attribution was not displaying below an observation activity in the student profile when the activity included both an attached image and a milestone.

• Resolved the issue that caused preview images to display as cropped when viewing Learning activities created on the Activities screen.

• Fixed an issue where staff with at least one 2-Step Verification method configured were incorrectly shown the "2-step Verification is now available at your center!" promotional message at login.

• Resolved an issue where 2-Step Verification could not be re-enabled for users who disabled it, even when a valid 2-Step Verification method was already configured.

• Fixed an issue where the room selection dropdown in Sign-In/Sign-Out appeared blank for users with a 2-Step Verification method enabled.

Android Resolved Issues

• Resolved an issue where an Absent activity created by a staff member was correctly flagged as Staff Only on web but did not display as Staff Only on mobile, preventing staff from approving it from the mobile app.

• Fixed an issue where the private message icon in the Conversations section was not displaying correctly after a parent/guardian enabled or disabled the Family Group Chat setting.
