New Location Checklist

This checklist can guide you through the steps to add a new location or edit an existing location.

Two option are available to add or update a new location to your center’s database,

These configurations need to be completed manually in order to start your new location process:

Manually Add
Add the School to the Region.	Procare Home > Configuration > System > Locations & Users > Regions & Schools
Add a new Procare user that needs access to the new location.	Procare Home > Configuration > System > Locations & Users > Regions & Schools Plan to add users prior to the exposure process so they will be available to add to your new location. System supervisors will be available by default If you use the Exposure Settings wizard, the users you have in the location you are copying from will be available
Update and apply the module license(s) that will be used by the location.	Learn more about license configuration in Procare.

Manually Add

Add the School to the Region.

Procare Home > Configuration > System > Locations & Users > Regions & Schools

Add a new Procare user that needs access to the new location.

Procare Home > Configuration > System > Locations & Users > Regions & Schools

Plan to add users prior to the exposure process so they will be available to add to your new location.

System supervisors will be available by default
If you use the Exposure Settings wizard, the users you have in the location you are copying from will be available

Update and apply the module license(s) that will be used by the location.

After you have completed the Exposure Settings wizard, review these items.

Manually Add
Select any Standard Amounts that the new location might use.	Procare Home > Configuration > System > Accounting Management > Family Accounting > Standard Amounts
Select the Deposit Accounts the new location will use.	Procare Home > Configuration > System > Accounting Management > Family Accounting > Deposit Accounts
Review the items listed here, specifically those designated School and set up for your location.	Procare Home > Configuration > System > Data Management > Scheduling
